1. WHAT IS NAMBO?
NAMBO is the National Movement to Support Joseph Nyuma Boakai. It is a Political Action Movement (PAM) established to rally massive grassroots support behind the presidential bid of Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai.
NAMBO is also known or referred to as the Joseph Boakai Movement. This means that NAMBO is one and then same, and can be interchangeably used to mean one and the same as The Joseph Boakai Movement. NAMBO was established by a group of selfless Liberians representing all demographics of Liberia.
2. VISION
NAMBO envisions a Liberia that engenders quality democratic governance where fundamental human rights and freedoms and the rule of law are guaranteed. It speaks to a new Liberia that accelerates the collective purpose and will of the people – a fundamental essential of democracy. It also strongly recognizes and avows the principle that unless and until people are equally valued and their individual and collective acknowledgements in the eyes of the law are given our most attention regardless of social status or proximity to power, national unity is illusive. Under this vision, anything anathema to democracy is counterproductive and deemed unacceptable in the governance structure of the state under the magistracy of Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai.
3. MISSION
NAMBO’s mission is to rally the spiritual, financial, intellectual, material, and moral supports of majority of the voting population into electing Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai as president of the republic in 2017 and thereafter supporting his administration towards the comprehensive growth and development of Liberia.
4. GOALS
NAMBO was established to achieve two (2) overarching goals:
To ensure that the voting population is meticulously rallied into electing Vice President Boakai as president of the republic in the 2017 presidential poll; this is chiefly the most effective way of jumpstarting the realization of the political dreams of Vice President Boakai and practically initiating the critical development agenda of the scrupulous national revivification that will see Liberia arise anew. At NAMBO, we bear testimony to the fact that not until Joseph Nyuma Boakai is elected president, neither he nor NAMBO can achieve the desired collectivized development goals for our motherland, Liberia,
To rally and mobilize massive grassroots support and appreciation for the administration of Joseph Nyuma Boakai in the post 2017 governance process. NAMBO acknowledges quite strongly that people’s support and appreciation for any governing establishment in the world is the single most important resource leaders crave. Once this indispensable tool (people’s support and appreciation) is acquired, national development agendas are accelerated because they are built on people’s ownership and belongingness which constitutes a significant pillar in democratic governance. That way, self-ownership and maintenance leading to sustainability of development projects is assured.
5. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
As a political machinery founded to promote and actualize the political dreams of Vice President Boakai, NAMBO is committed to pursuing the following specific objectives:
Selling and popularizing Vice President Boakai and his political philosophies to Liberians at home and in the diaspora, thus translating into a strong campaign for his election as president of the republic;
Setting up, equipping, and training leadership structures in the fifteen (15) political sub-divisions of Liberia and in the diaspora, including Ghana, USA, and greater Europe to manage the affairs of NAMBO and propagate the messages of Vice President Boakai;
Raising the necessary financial, moral, and material supports and the much needed intellectual and technical knowhow germane enough to translate into the election of Vice President Boakai and a qualified people-driven national leadership in the governance of Liberia;
Building strong political collaborations with the Unity Party and all other political parties, groups, and organizations in solidarity with dreams of Vice President Boakai in the pending 2017 presidential election;
Reaching out to, and rallying the technical support and expertise of professional groups and associations towards bring their expertise to bear on the overall functioning of the campaign, election, and the post electoral administration of Vice President Boakai;
Collaborating with the Unity Party to develop a clear blueprint for the socio-economic transformation of Liberia led by Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai; and,
Doing and/or undertaking any other business legally acceptable under the laws of Liberia.
6. CORE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES OF NAMBO
In the performance of its duties and functions pursuant to accomplishing its vision, the National Movement to Support Boakai is inter alia, committed to the following core values and principles explicitly enumerated below:
We are committed to the principles of democracy, good governance and the rule of law;

We believe that patronage politics and impunity have perennially and terribly undermined the growth and development of Liberia and as a leadership, NAMBO will fight to overthrow and destroy the culture of impunity and patronage in Liberia;
We believe and avow the principles of nationalism and patriotism and the promotion of positive Liberian culture towards self-governance and self-determination as a nation-state;
We believe in religious tolerance and ethnic pluralism and that faith must be a construct determined independently by individuals as long as the practice of such faith does not serve any functions anathema to the Constitution and laws of Liberia;
We believe in the merit system and principles of equal work for equal pay; and,
We believe in all who believe in us and all who believe in the reality that Liberia can and will most definitely rise as a new nation.
